ARD Optics offers a wide range of flow tubes and reflectors for lasers.

Single and Multi-Hole Cavity Filters and Laser Flow Tubes

Our company offers standard and specific laser flow tubes which are used in lasers with flashlamp pumped with a coolant. At the same time, flow tubes protect laser elements from undesired UV radiation by absorbing it, as well as radiation from the side of the rod, thereby enhancing the efficiency of the laser. We manufacture laser monoblocs from the following materials:

  • Pyrex Glass
  • Borofloat 33
  • Fused Silica
  • Cerium Doped Fused Silica
  • Samarium Doped Glass S7005 (5%Sm), S7010 (10%Sm)

The materials are listed in accordance with their cost starting from the cheapest option.

Our specialists carry out all the stages of processing: cutting, drilling, grinding and polishing, keeping the precise parallelism of the holes and other tolerances.

The laser flow tubes are designed and manufactured upon the customer’s request.

Reflectors for Laser Cavity

ARD Optics offers standard and specific reflectors which are used in lasers with flashlamp pumped with a coolant. We manufacture laser reflectors from the following materials:

  • Pyrex Glass
  • Borofloat 33
  • Fused Silica
  • Cerium Doped Fused Silica
  • Samarium Doped Glass S7005 (5%Sm), S7010 (10%Sm)

These reflectors are the same flow tubes with their cross section – usually elliptic or round – depending on the customer’s requirements. The outer surface of these flow tubesare coated with silver (highly reflective Ag) and protected by several metal layers.

ARD Optics can also manufacture (apply reflective coating) to flow tube from the above materials provided by the customer.

Specular Silver Coated Reflectors for Diode Pumped Lasers

Specular reflectors for diode pumped lasers consist of Fused Silica or sapphire tube, the external surface of which is covered with silver (highly reflective Ag) coating with protected layers. Several areas of this reflector are open as a window for diode pumping. We produce such kind of reflectors with window sizes and configuration in accordance with the customer’s requirements.

Diffusion Reflectors for Diode Pumped Lasers

We can also offer you reflectors (diffusion and specular) of different configuration for diode pumped lasers, that would ensure uniform pumping of laser elements.

For diffusion pumping reflectors we use a unique polymer material, which has good characteristics for reflectors:

  • Reflection coefficient in UV, VIS and NIR region is 99%.
  • long time temperature stability,
  • resistance to temperature from -200C to +260C,
  • chemical stability and water insoluble,
  • very good electrical insulation, etc.

We produce two types of diffusion reflectors with different shapes for diode pumped lasers in accordance with the customer’s requirements.
